Why “The Original” ?

The Original D8 seltzer is the first of its kind- combining hemp-derived Delta 8 THC with a crisp, refreshing seltzer.  Our D8 Seltzer is infused with a hemp-derived cannabinoid called Delta 8 THC as well as other natural ingredients. D8 seltzer combines the minor cannabinoids Delta 8 THC, CBG, and CBD in order to produce an entourage effect. Our Original D8 Seltzer is a healthy alternative as it contains no alcohol, no sugar, no carbs, and no calories. So what exactly does it have? Only carbonated water, a few natural flavors, and, most importantly, 20mg of hemp-derived Delta 8 THC. If you’re looking for an alcohol replacement, the Original D8 Seltzer is the perfect choice; our unique Indica blend will make you glad to be wherever you find yourself.

The world’s first hemp-derived Delta-8 infused seltzer.

This is the alcohol alternative that’s better for you with a buzz like no other. Remember – these are not your father’s CBD gummies. Here at Delta Beverages, we consider ourselves to be a cannabis beverage company; we are looking to change the game of cannabis consumption with consumers. Enjoy all of the immediate effects of smoking cannabis with a convenient drink alternative. Our leading product is The Original D8 Seltzer ™. Stay tuned for new flavors of these mood-enhancing beverages!

What is Delta 8?

Delta 8 THC- or D8 – is a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis (hemp and marijuana) and is commonly abbreviated as Delta 8, Δ8, D8. It is one out of 100’s different naturally occurring cannabinoids. It’s created as a byproduct as delta 9 breaks down. Some of the delta 9  converts to CBN (inactive cannabinoid), while a small percentage is converted to the more stable delta 8 isomer instead. All of our products are compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill.

What is HHC?

HHC or the technical name is Hexahydrocannabinol, is one out of hundreds of naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is a more rare cannabinoid, and gives similar effects to THC, but is THC free. Consumers describe a more social and “Sativa” like feeling from the THC free cannabinoid.

Delta-8 THC (or Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a naturally occurring chemical compound called a cannabinoid that’s found in small traces in hemp and cannabis (marijuana) plants. Its popularity is on the rise, and you can find it everywhere from boutique weed dispensaries to convenience store shelves.
Another reason for Delta-8’s growing popularity is that, unlike heavily regulated THC, Delta-8 is legal to use in most states. That’s because it’s extracted mostly from hemp-derived CBD, which is legal to farm across the U.S. But Delta-8 sits in a legal gray area. Hemp’s legality stems from the so-called federal farm bill (the Agriculture and Nutrition Improvement Act of 2018), which removed hemp and its byproducts from the list of controlled substances. The reason: Hemp’s low THC levels (less than 0.3%). The bill doesn’t mention Delta-8 anywhere. Hemp advocates and others who sell it have used this loophole to legally market Delta-8 products, usually with no age restrictions. As a result, it’s now the fastest-growing product in the hemp industry.
HHC is a THC relative long known to science, but until recently not often discussed by cannabis users. HHC is a minor cannabinoid; it occurs naturally in cannabis, but in amounts too small to make extraction cost-effective. Since commercial production of HHC is just getting off the ground, it’s still not widely known.

It depends. Delta-8 is a form of THC. Drug tests often look for traces of Delta-9, but Delta-8 could show up as a positive for THC. Whether it’s Delta-8 or Delta-9, people also react differently to cannabinoids depending on type of products they use and how long they use them for. Currently, commercial urine drug tests don’t differentiate between different cannabinoids. So if you have a drug test coming up, it’s best to avoid Delta-8 products.

There’s also a lack of research and evidence when it comes to Delta-8’s impact on your overall health. Many people have reported — mostly via social media posts — that they use Delta-8 along with their prescription medications to help with depression and substance use. Users say Delta-8 can also:

  • Calm nausea
  • Boost appetite
  • Ease pain relief
  • Boost mental health
  • Prevent vomiting during cancer treatments
